God is doing something new in Marin.

Is He doing something new in you?

Join us in building up a church in Marin!

Here's the Scoop:

Hillside Church of Marin is a great church, across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. We have two locations — one in Corte Madera and a new one in San Rafael, specifically an area called Lucas Valley. We're looking for someone to come lead dynamic worship on a weekly basis for a 4pm service at this new Lucas Valley location.

What makes this position special?

Love

We know it sounds cheesy but it's true so we'll own it. We LOVE our community and our hearts long for the people of this county to know the love of God in their lives. We're looking for someone who has tasted and been transformed by the love of God. We are looking for someone who loves people of all sorts and will pour their life into shaping a church that will love its neighbors well. We are looking for a leader whose love for God is of heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Location

First, this is Marin County — one of the most amazing and beautiful places in the world to live and one of the most challenging, unreached, (and exciting) places in the US to do ministry. More specifically, we’ve just launched a location in the Lucas Valley / Marinwood area, right on the corner of Lucas Valley Road and Las Gallinas Avenue. Surrounded by growing, vibrant neighborhoods, bursting with families with young kids, retirees, and everything in between.

Team

We have a great team of people who are forward thinking, love God, enjoy working together, and have worked hard to build a healthy staff culture of trust, candor, fun and support.

Church

Hillside is an awesome community of people and a really fun place to work. We are a healthy, growing church with a strong past and a bright future.

Timing

We’re finding that a 4pm service reaches a different crowd than morning services. It also means we can build a different team. This position is intentionally structured so it can be done by someone who is working at another location on Sunday mornings. We’ve seen this work before and be a blessing to the individual as well as both churches.
